Loving God, you bid the angels to watch over us so we might know your enduring love for every person. In hope we pray: God, in your providential care, hear our prayer.

Generous God, you lavish us with love and give us what we need. In trust we pray: God, hear our prayer.

Faithful God, you are trustworthy and true. In confidence we pray: Remember your compassion, O God.

Resplendent God, your light shines in our darkness. In hope we pray: God, make haste to help us.

Everlasting God, you are forever faithful to your promise. In steadfast hope we pray: God, hear us.

God of glory, we praise you for the Word you have given us in the Gospel of Matthew. In trust we pray: God, fulfill your law in us.

Provident God, you draw near to the poor who are oppressed and the needy who sigh. With trust we pray: God, in your wisdom, hear our prayer.

Holy God, we rejoice to honor Mary, who shared in Christ’s passion at the foot of the cross. In company with her we pray: Show us mercy, O God.

Ruler of the nations, you gather us together as a holy people in Jesus. In faith we pray: Bring joy to our hearts, O God.

May the face of God shine on us, the love of Christ enfold us, and the joy of the Spirit fill us, now and always. Amen.
