Maker of heaven and earth, through Jesus your Spirit dwells in us. In trust we pray: God, let your light shine through us.

Compassionate God, you pursue us with relentless love. In company with St. Gertrude we ponder the sacred heart of Jesus and pray: Fill our hearts with your peace, O God.

May God heal every ill and enrich us with the gifts of the Holy Spirit so that with freedom of heart we may pursue all things in Christ. Amen.

May God bless us, protect us from evil, and keep us blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, by the power of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

God our savior, we celebrate your presence in and among us as we commemorate the Lateran Basilica. In joy we pray: Shine your light on your Church, O God.

May the Word of God be in our hearts and on our lips, by the power of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Beneficent God, you alone are holy. Fix our hearts on you, and accept our hopeful pleas as we pray: O God, lead us along the everlasting way.

May the Lord show us the path to life, wipe away our tears, and lead us to walk in God’s presence in the land of the living, by the power of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

May the Holy Spirit reveal the presence of God among us and guide us along new paths that will heal divisions, through Jesus our peace. Amen.
