God of love, by your Spirit you ignite our souls to desire only you. In hope we pray: O God, set us on fire with the Spirit of love.

May God bless us, be gracious to us, and give us peace, by the power of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Compassionate God, you observe our troubles and take things in hand. In hope we pray: God, come to our aid.

Mighty God, you cast down the mighty and raise up the lowly. In company with Mary we pray: Gracious God, hear us.

May God fan into flame our zeal for the Gospel and enlighten our vision by the example and prayer of the saints. Amen.

Righteous God, you hear the prayer of the poor. In company with those who have given their lives for the sake of the poor and oppressed, we pray: God, in your justice, hear our prayer.

God of the living, you called St. Andrew and he followed you. With longing we pray: Call us by name, O God.

Mighty God, all in heaven and on earth are yours. In confidence we pray to you: O God, give us the joy of your salvation.
