God our savior, we celebrate your presence in and among us as we commemorate the Lateran Basilica. In joy we pray: Shine your light on your Church, O God.

May the Word of God be in our hearts and on our lips, by the power of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Beneficent God, you alone are holy. Fix our hearts on you, and accept our hopeful pleas as we pray: O God, lead us along the everlasting way.

May the Lord show us the path to life, wipe away our tears, and lead us to walk in God’s presence in the land of the living, by the power of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

May the Holy Spirit reveal the presence of God among us and guide us along new paths that will heal divisions, through Jesus our peace. Amen.

Give wisdom, support, and courage to Pope Francis and all who hold positions of authority in the Church.

May we prefer nothing to the love of Christ, and may he bring us together to everlasting life. Amen.

May God give success to our works and bless us with the peace of Christ that surpasses all understanding. Amen.

May God keep us in love and hold us in mercy, through Jesus our saving help. Amen.
