May God enkindle in our hearts the fire of charity and root our actions in love and good zeal, through Christ the Son of God. Amen.

May God of splendor and glory, renew our hope and deepen our love, through Jesus Christ and by the Holy Spirit for the coming year. Amen.

Merciful God, we remember the suffering into which Christ was born, and we humbly pray: Heal us and save us, O God.

Ruler of the Universe, your justice is deeper than the waters and higher than the heavens. In hope we pray.

Liberating God, in Jesus you restore the world to order and establish your reign of peace. With hope we pray: Unite us in your love, O God.
