Generous God, you lavish us with love and call us to follow Christ. In company with St. Patrick we pray: God, teach us your ways.

All-knowing God, you alone are judge. Humbled before you we pray: God, incline your ear to us.

Merciful God, love and fidelity surround you. In confidence we pray: O God, receive our prayer.

May the Spirit of Christ sustain our hope through the day, guard us through the night, and companion us through life and into eternity. Amen.

May God strengthen us to rejoice in hope, endure in affliction, and persevere in prayer, by the power of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

May God strengthen us and confirm us in our calling to be witnesses to the light of Christ, by the power of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

May God show us compassion and love and grant us salvation, through Jesus our brother. Amen.

Architect of the skies, you formed the earth and set it on the seas. Awed by your creation we pray: Be present to us, O God.

Shepherding God, you anointed Peter to be the rock upon which you would build your Church. We celebrate this commission and pray: O God, hear us.

May God gladden our hearts in Christ Jesus and make us joyful in praising God now and always. Amen.
