God of everlasting joy, you graced your daughter St. Hildegard of Bingen with many spiritual gifts. In company with her we pray: Fill us with your peace, O God.

Wondrous God, by the cross of Christ Jesus, death no longer has power over creation. In hope we pray: God, in your wisdom, hear our prayer.

God of mercy and justice, on this day of prayer and remembrance for the victims of the terrorist attacks twenty years ago we pray: Heed our cries for help, O God.

May God favor us with every grace and blessing we need to fulfill the service God has given us for the reign of Christ’s peace. Amen.
