Rescuing God, you free us from our troubles. In trust we pray: ℟. God, in your great love, come to our aid.
For missionaries, prophets, and all who suffer persecution because of their faith, we pray: ℟.
For students who struggle in school and for inspiration and patience for teachers, we pray: ℟.
For caregivers and those who depend on the love and attention of others, we pray: ℟.
Our Father . . .
May the Lord bless us, keep us, and fill us with every gift of the Holy Spirit, through Jesus our peace. Amen.

Sr. Susan Barber, OSB

Sister Susan Barber, OSB, is a member of the Benedictine Community of Mount St. Scholastica in Atchison, KS. She received a master’s degree in Music from UMKC and a master’s degree from Catholic Theological Union in Chicago. Susan is currently the community’s liturgist. She is one of the community’s main organists and pianists. Susan graduated from Souljourners in 2018 and offers retreats at Sophia.
