God of light, you observe our trouble and take things in hand. In confidence we pray: ℟. God, in your steadfast love, hear our prayer.
Heal those who suffer trauma and loss from shootings and violence. ℟.
Safeguard citizens from the plots of terrorists and all who seek to harm others. ℟.
Give peace to those who are restless and those who lack sufficient sleep. ℟.
Our Father . . .
May God lead us to seek and pursue peace at all times, through Jesus our hope. Amen.
