Good and gracious God, you are all-compassion and all-encouragement. In faith we pray: ℟. Fulfill our hope, O God.
Prosper efforts to care for those who suffer from economic and social disparity. ℟.
Lead all in authority to exercise power with compassion and justice. ℟.
Protect innocent people who are liable to deportation. ℟.
Our Father . . .
May God strengthen us in our afflictions and give us courage to stand firm in faith and hope, through Jesus our Rock. Amen.

Sr. Susan Barber, OSB

Sister Susan Barber, OSB, is a member of the Benedictine Community of Mount St. Scholastica in Atchison, KS. She received a master’s degree in Music from UMKC and a master’s degree from Catholic Theological Union in Chicago. Susan is currently the community’s liturgist. She is one of the community’s main organists and pianists. Susan graduated from Souljourners in 2018 and offers retreats at Sophia.
