Forgiving God, you show pity on our human frailty and weakness. In hope we pray: God, in your wisdom, hear our prayer.

Help us to uphold and protect the dignity of the human person and all creation at every stage of development.

Increase assistance for those suffering economic hardship because of political upheaval or unjust practices.

Give us moral courage and perseverance in time of trial.

Our Father . . .

May the Word of God be a lamp for our feet and a guide for our steps, by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Amen.
