God of love, your disciple whom Jesus loved gave witness to your holy Word.

In company with St. John we pray: God, in your goodness, hear our prayer.

Sing in the hearts of all the faithful, and let our festival of Christmas bear fruit in continued joy and generous selfgiving.

Shower your compassion upon suicide prevention and bereavement groups.

Keep families of undocumented immigrants safe and together.

Our Father . . .

May God rouse our hearts to greater knowledge of Christ’s love and greater care for our neighbor, through Jesus our brother.

Amen.
