God of compassion, you redeem and renew us by your forgiving love. In trust we pray:

Gracious God, hear us.

You are slow to anger: help us to be patient with ourselves and with each other.

Gracious God, hear us.

You are forever blessing us: fill our hearts with gratitude and wonder.

Gracious God, hear us.

You heal our ills: advance research and medicine for successful treatment of cancer, AIDS, and other diseases.

Gracious God, hear us.

Our Father . . .

May God deliver us from every illness, by the prayers of St. Blaise, bishop and martyr, through the power of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
