Patient God, you knock at the door of our hearts and wait for our response. In hope we pray:

Saving God, be near to us.

You ride on the clouds: bring to our minds and hearts your power and glory.

Saving God, be near to us.

You bear our burdens: ease the troubles of those who struggle financially or emotionally.

Saving God, be near to us.

You provide an escape from death: raise to new life all who have died with their hope fixed on Jesus.

Saving God, be near to us.

Our Father . . .

May the love of God, the peace of Christ, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with us and remain with us forever. Amen.
