Sovereign God, in Jesus you make your home among us. Confident of your care we pray:

God, show us your face.

Strengthen those who experience severe affliction.

God, show us your face.

Inspire us to care for others and share our fortune through almsgiving and charity.

God, show us your face.

Give unending joy in your presence to those who have died with their hope fixed on you.

God, show us your face.

Our Father . . .

May God lead us to give generously out of our joy and our love, through Jesus, the Mercy of God. Amen.
