Righteous God, your law is love. In hope we pray: 

Fill us with your Spirit, O God.  

Cultivate gratitude and goodness of life in deacons and all who seek to minister in your Church. 

Fill us with your Spirit, O God.  

Deepen the love between spouses and within families. 

Fill us with your Spirit, O God.  

Guide the reentry of those released from prison. 

Fill us with your Spirit, O God.  

Our Father . . .  

May God bless us with listening hearts, obedient spirits, and knowledge of the truth, by the power of the Word. Amen.

Sr. Susan Barber, OSB

Sister Susan Barber, OSB, is a member of the Benedictine Community of Mount St. Scholastica in Atchison, KS. She received a master’s degree in Music from UMKC and a master’s degree from Catholic Theological Union in Chicago. Susan is currently the community’s liturgist. She is one of the community’s main organists and pianists. Susan graduated from Souljourners in 2018 and offers retreats at Sophia.
