God of glory, kindness and peace meet in you. In trust we pray: Show us mercy, O God. 

Give us courage to receive change with openness and to offer hospitality with grace. 

Show us mercy, O God. 

Help us to forgive with love and to extend peace with generosity. 

Show us mercy, O God. 

Give our faithful departed lasting joy in your presence. 

Show us mercy, O God. 

Our Father . . . 

May the Lord fill our hearts with love and lead us to know God’s glory on the face of Jesus Christ. Amen

Sr. Susan Barber, OSB

Sister Susan Barber, OSB, is a member of the Benedictine Community of Mount St. Scholastica in Atchison, KS. She received a master’s degree in Music from UMKC and a master’s degree from Catholic Theological Union in Chicago. Susan is currently the community’s liturgist. She is one of the community’s main organists and pianists. Susan graduated from Souljourners in 2018 and offers retreats at Sophia.
