Creator of all, your wonders are shown in the cosmos. In awe we pray: Help us to rest in you, O God. 

Help us to pause in our day to reflect on your wonderful works and your gracious action in our lives. 

     Help us to rest in you, O God.  

Watch over young people who are away from home for the first time.  

     Help us to rest in you, O God. 

Comfort those who are anxious, and relieve those who are burdened by worry.  

     Help us to rest in you, O God. 

Our Father . . . 

May God open our eyes, ears, and hearts to the message of love that radiates through all of life through Jesus, the Son of God. Amen.

Sr. Susan Barber, OSB

Sister Susan Barber, OSB, is a member of the Benedictine Community of Mount St. Scholastica in Atchison, KS. She received a master’s degree in Music from UMKC and a master’s degree from Catholic Theological Union in Chicago. Susan is currently the community’s liturgist. She is one of the community’s main organists and pianists. Susan graduated from Souljourners in 2018 and offers retreats at Sophia.
