Forgiving God, you swiftly answer the repentant heart. In faith we pray: Show us your mercy, O God.

Uphold us in times of spiritual barrenness, and let us know your love in our crosses.

Shower your grace and blessing on leaders of religious communities and parishes.

Refresh parched and dry lands with nourishing rain.

Our Father . . .

May God give us a spirit of wisdom and revelation as we come to know Christ, and with the eyes of our hearts enlightened, may we perceive what is the hope to which we have been called by the Holy Spirit.

Amen.
