Merciful God, you forgive our sins and heal us of illness.
In faith we pray: God, in your compassion, hear our prayer.
Give wisdom, understanding, and integrity to the pope, bishops, pastors, deacons, and leaders of religious communities and congregations.
Protect innocent people threatened by deportation, and help us enact just immigration policies.
Rescue those who are tempted to take their life or harm themselves or others.
Our Father . . .
May the Word of God be a lamp to our feet and a light for our path, through Jesus our teacher.
