Eternal God, your love endures forever. In faith we pray:

God, in your faithfulness, hear our prayer.

Fortify the work of the laity and lay organizations in the Church.

God, in your faithfulness, hear our prayer.

Enkindle in recent graduates the fire of your love, desire for service, and personal growth.

God, in your faithfulness, hear our prayer.

Restore life and wholeness to countries devasted by war, political corruption, or environmental disaster.

God, in your faithfulness, hear our prayer.

Our Father . . .

May God bless us and fulfill the desires of our hearts through Jesus our peace. Amen.

Sr. Susan Barber, OSB

Sister Susan Barber, OSB, is a member of the Benedictine Community of Mount St. Scholastica in Atchison, KS. She received a master’s degree in Music from UMKC and a master’s degree from Catholic Theological Union in Chicago. Susan is currently the community’s liturgist. She is one of the community’s main organists and pianists. Susan graduated from Souljourners in 2018 and offers retreats at Sophia.
