O God, you made St. Josaphat a servant for unity in the Church. In company with him we pray: 

Make us one body in Christ, O God.  

Prosper efforts to foster unity between the Roman Catholic and Eastern Orthodox Churches. 

Make us one body in Christ, O God.  

Advance dialogue and respect among women and men, clergy and laity. 

Make us one body in Christ, O God.  

Unite people of faith in efforts to provide access to clean water for all. 

Make us one body in Christ, O God.  

Our Father . . .  

May God enrich our lives with every blessing of the Spirit and grant us peace in Christ. Amen.

Sr. Susan Barber, OSB

Sister Susan Barber, OSB, is a member of the Benedictine Community of Mount St. Scholastica in Atchison, KS. She received a master’s degree in Music from UMKC and a master’s degree from Catholic Theological Union in Chicago. Susan is currently the community’s liturgist. She is one of the community’s main organists and pianists. Susan graduated from Souljourners in 2018 and offers retreats at Sophia.
