Merciful God, you take heed of our distress. In trust we pray: God, come to our aid.

Establish us in the faith, and lead us to rejoice always in the promise of salvation.

God, come to our aid.

Quicken efforts to stop all forms of torture and mutilation.

God, come to our aid.

Give health, hope, and safety to farmers and all who work the land.

God, come to our aid.

Our Father . . .

May God change our sorrow and mourning into gladness and dancing, through Jesus, crucified and risen. Amen.
