Glorious God, your Light has come upon the world in Jesus. In joy we pray: Show us your face, O God.

Enlighten our hearts to recognize and love you in our elders.

Show us your face, O God.

Dispel the darkness of war and hate, and help us to extend peace to all people.

Show us your face, O God.

Fulfill the longing of those who wait for you, and lift the spirits of those who suffer from seasonal affective disorder.

Show us your face, O God.

Our Father . . .

May mercy and truth meet in our hearts, through Jesus, the light of peace. Amen.
