Holy God, by your Spirit you fashion your Church into your holy temple. In hope we pray: Favor us with your grace, O God.  

Increase humanity’s awareness of waste, and help us to reduce consumerism. 

Favor us with your grace, O God. 

Advance efforts to increase cybersecurity awareness for organizations, the elderly, and all people. 

Favor us with your grace, O God. 

Help us to accompany our loved ones who are critically ill or in hospice care. 

Favor us with your grace, O God. 

Our Father . . .  

May the God of our Lord Jesus Christ fill us with every grace and blessing by the power of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Sr. Susan Barber, OSB

Sister Susan Barber, OSB, is a member of the Benedictine Community of Mount St. Scholastica in Atchison, KS. She received a master’s degree in Music from UMKC and a master’s degree from Catholic Theological Union in Chicago. Susan is currently the community’s liturgist. She is one of the community’s main organists and pianists. Susan graduated from Souljourners in 2018 and offers retreats at Sophia.
