Compassionate God of the saints and martyrs, you are near to all who call upon you. In company with St. Maximilian we pray: God, in your justice, hear our prayer.

Uphold missionaries and all who suffer persecution for proclaiming and living the Gospel.

God, in your justice, hear our prayer.

Safeguard prisoners, and quicken the release of all those who are unjustly imprisoned.

God, in your justice, hear our prayer.

Prosper efforts to ensure affordable and adequate health care for all people.

God, in your justice, hear our prayer.

Our Father . . .

May the love of God and the peace of Christ abide in our hearts, by the power of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
