Gracious God, in company with Mary we sing your mercy and love as we pray: Remember your covenant, O God. 

Teach us your hidden wisdom, and help us to rejoice in your life-giving Word.  

Remember your covenant, O God. 

Instill in your Church a spirit of compassion, and make us an effective witness to your inclusive love.  

Remember your covenant, O God. 

Help us to advance services and resources for women’s health care and childcare needs.  

Remember your covenant, O God. 

Our Father . . . 

May God fill our hearts with gladness and rejoicing in the love of Jesus, by the power of the Holy Spirit. Amen

Sr. Susan Barber, OSB

Sister Susan Barber, OSB, is a member of the Benedictine Community of Mount St. Scholastica in Atchison, KS. She received a master’s degree in Music from UMKC and a master’s degree from Catholic Theological Union in Chicago. Susan is currently the community’s liturgist. She is one of the community’s main organists and pianists. Susan graduated from Souljourners in 2018 and offers retreats at Sophia.
