Holy God, in company with your humble and faith-filled servant Joseph, we pray:  

God of the covenant, hear our prayer.  

Help us to welcome spring with attention to your life-giving Word and its presence in all creation.  

God of the covenant, hear our prayer. 

Give wisdom, guidance, and peace to parents who are challenged by difficult decisions.  

God of the covenant, hear our prayer. 

Deepen your Church’s love for the poor and hospitality to refugees.  

God of the covenant, hear our prayer. 

Our Father . . .  

May God bless us and strengthen us in our vocation to love, through Jesus, Mary, and Joseph. Amen

Sr. Susan Barber, OSB

Sister Susan Barber, OSB, is a member of the Benedictine Community of Mount St. Scholastica in Atchison, KS. She received a master’s degree in Music from UMKC and a master’s degree from Catholic Theological Union in Chicago. Susan is currently the community’s liturgist. She is one of the community’s main organists and pianists. Susan graduated from Souljourners in 2018 and offers retreats at Sophia.
