Compassionate God, you turn flint into a spring of water. In hope we pray: Turn our darkness to light, O God.

For parents and children as they care for each other, and for those who have no one to love them, we pray:

Turn our darkness to light, O God.

For those who suffer depression, PTSD, or the dark night of the soul, we pray:

Turn our darkness to light, O God.

For those who are surrounded by death, violence, or oppression, we pray:

Turn our darkness to light, O God.

Our Father . . .

May the God of peace sanctify us completely, and may we be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
