O God our savior, you are all merciful. In trust we pray: God, grant us your salvation. 

Help us to heal social divisions and relationship wounds caused by the pandemic. 

God, grant us your salvation. 

Give life-giving repentance to all who seek mercy, forgiveness, and goodness. 

God, grant us your salvation. 

Gladden the hearts of grandparents, and bless all intergenerational relationships.  

God, grant us your salvation. 

Our Father . . .  

May God show us mercy, restore our life in Christ Jesus, and lead us to rejoice always in the saving power of God. Amen.

Sister Susan Barber, OSB, is a member of the Benedictine Community of Mount St. Scholastica in Atchison, KS. She received a master’s degree in Music from UMKC and a master’s degree from Catholic Theological Union in Chicago. Susan is currently the community’s liturgist. She is one of the community’s main organists and pianists. Susan graduated from Souljourners in 2018 and offers retreats at Sophia.
