How deep are your designs, O God! In awe we pray: God, help us to be present to you. 

Foster greater support in faith communities for those who follow you in the single vocation. 

     God, help us to be present to you.  

Inspire government leaders to seek ways to uphold the dignity of human life.  

     God, help us to be present to you. 

Shower your support, compassion, and love upon women who are experiencing a crisis pregnancy.  

     God, help us to be present to you. 

Our Father . . . 

May God grant mercy, light, and peace to all the faithful departed and lead us along the way to everlasting life in Jesus. Amen.

Sr. Susan Barber, OSB

Sister Susan Barber, OSB, is a member of the Benedictine Community of Mount St. Scholastica in Atchison, KS. She received a master’s degree in Music from UMKC and a master’s degree from Catholic Theological Union in Chicago. Susan is currently the community’s liturgist. She is one of the community’s main organists and pianists. Susan graduated from Souljourners in 2018 and offers retreats at Sophia.
