Everlasting God, your love endures forever. In faith we pray:

God, come to our aid.

You humble our hearts: help us to fix our attention on love of you and love of neighbor.

God, come to our aid.

You rescue us from our distress: make your Church an instrument of hope in the world.

God, come to our aid.

You lead us out of the shadow of death: strengthen and heal those who are addicted to opioids or other substances.

God, come to our aid.

Our Father . . .

May the love of God fill our hearts with gladness, joy, and gratitude, now and always. Amen.
