Lover of the poor, you sustained St. Martin of Tours in his prayer and in his living of the Gospel. In company with him we pray: Lead us along your everlasting way, O God.

Protect military troops, and bring them safely home to their loved ones.

Lead us along your everlasting way, O God.

Prosper efforts to ensure adequate aid and support for military troops, veterans, and their families.

Lead us along your everlasting way, O God.

Break the bonds of fear, ignorance, and unjust power that fuel racism and racist thinking.

Lead us along your everlasting way, O God.

Our Father . . .

May God keep a loving eye on us and strengthen us for living the corporal works of mercy, through Jesus our brother. Amen.
