God of justice, you guide us by your light and your truth. In faith we pray: O God, gladden our hearts.

Release those who are unjustly imprisoned or captivated.

O God, gladden our hearts.

Restore honor where there is dishonor, and give fairness and honesty to those in positions of authority.

O God, gladden our hearts.

Help us to learn from our failures and to pursue peace.

O God, gladden our hearts.

Our Father . . .

May God fill our hearts with gratitude and strengthen us for every good work and word, in Jesus, our light and our truth. Amen.
