All-knowing God, you alone are judge. Humbled before you we pray: God, incline your ear to us. 

Enlighten parents, catechists, and youth ministers as they nurture seeds of faith in young people.  

     God, incline your ear to us. 

Inspire scientists in their education, research, and communication to the public.  

     God, incline your ear to us. 

Prosper efforts to protect the unborn, educate the young, and promote the dignity of every human person. 

     God, incline your ear to us. 

Our Father . . . 

May God be with us, draw us to Christ, and enrich us with every gift of the Spirit, now and always. Amen.

Sr. Susan Barber, OSB

Sister Susan Barber, OSB, is a member of the Benedictine Community of Mount St. Scholastica in Atchison, KS. She received a master’s degree in Music from UMKC and a master’s degree from Catholic Theological Union in Chicago. Susan is currently the community’s liturgist. She is one of the community’s main organists and pianists. Susan graduated from Souljourners in 2018 and offers retreats at Sophia.
